Community Action Health Center provides Outreach and Enrollment (O&E) assistance to help individuals and families understand their health coverage options and apply for available programs.
Community Action Health Center has Certified Application Counselors (CACs) who are trained and educated in the different options for healthcare insurance and other types of Nebraska state assistance needs.
CACs provide year-round assistance with your Health Insurance Marketplace applications and/or state assistance programs like Medicaid, SNAP (food stamps) and ADC (Aid to Dependent Children).
Our services are free to the community. You do not have to be a patient of Community Action Health Center to be seen.
Who Can Receive Assistance
Anyone seeking help understanding or applying for healthcare coverage or state assistance programs.
CACs can assist with applications for:
- Health Insurance Marketplace plans
- Medicaid and Medicaid Expansion
- Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP)
- SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)
- ADC (Aid to Dependent Children)
- Other Nebraska state assistance programs
