Reproductive Health Programs
At Community Action Health Center, we are committed to providing compassionate, confidential, and high-quality reproductive health care and counseling for male and female clients of all ages, from adolescents to seniors. We empower individuals with the knowledge and support needed to make healthy lifestyle choices. We are proud to be a Title X facility who offers confidential services to teens.
Educational Services
We provide educational opportunities for our clients and community on a variety of important health topics, including basic male and female anatomy and physiology, reproductive health across the lifespan, health promotion, encouragement of family participation, family planning and contraceptive methods including abstinence, healthy relationships, STD/HIV risk prevention and education, infertility.
Medical Services
We provide the following medical services in our Reproductive Health Program:
Pap Smears (Papanicolaou test), pelvic exams, breast exams, pregnancy testing and options counseling, STD screening and treatment, free condoms, HPV vaccination, birth control, emergency contraception, PrEP/nPEP/DoxyPEP, genitourinary problem visits, abnormal bleeding, perimenopausal and menopausal management.
Screening Services
Cervical, breast, and colorectal screening & referral, well woman visits, Every Woman Matters Program, HIV referrals for treatment (Ryan White), diabetes, hyperlipidemia, anemia, and hypertension screening.
