CAPWN Foundation held their annual fundraiser on Friday, April 23rd at the Gering Civic Center.

The room was packed with people having fun raising money for a good cause.

Over 160 people helped make the event a huge success. There were also 22 local video horse owners for the CAPWN Stakes and the CAPWN Foudnation Derby. This year's CAPWN Stakes winner was Destintery Mistress owned by John Carrington and the CAPWN Foundation Derby

winner was Canadian Freedom owned by Jaci Bartow.

This year's horse owners were: ALLO Communications, Gering Pharmacy, US Bank, Gering Dental Clinic, First National Bank North Platte,  Betty Kenyon, Brown's Shoe Fit, Special Touch, Jaci Bartow, Jeff Tracy, Special Touch, Becky's Day Spa, Pahlke Law Firm, C.A.R.E. Chiropractic, Gutwein Appraisal, Regional West Medical Center Revenue Cycle Dept., Head Start Managers, Star-Herald, and Dr. Greg Cromer.
