It is not too late to sign up to ring bells. There will be a meeting at the First United Methodist Church in Scottsbluff on Monday at 6:30 p.m. for anyone interested in ringing bells.
Of the money raised, Lawton said, 90 percent of it will stay in the local area.

"It is amazing what a few pennies, nickels and dimes can do," Lawton said. "We would count up all the change last year and there would be $800 to $900 a day, just in change. So please help out and give when you see the bell ringers."

For more information on this year's Salvation Army Bell Ringing contact Roy Lawton at 635-3089 or Darlene Hall at 632-2784.
